Deadblood (Absolute Undisputed Champion)
You're staring off into space like some moon goon.

Deadblood couldn't help but let out a small laugh at her response before saying, "Joining us doesn't mean you have to do any of that. There really is much more to it than anything that goes on it that ring. By association alone, you'll be much safer than you would be if you turned down my offer and tried to handle the situation alone. I guess you could call it safety in numbers. Because while neither of us knows what the company might send our way, I'm pretty sure we'll both be grateful to be allies when it arrives."
Adjusting the bag of frozen vegetables, Sheri responded with, "But what should I do until that happens? Just sit around while you play champion?"
"Well, to go along with the idea of safety in numbers, you could always come down to the ring with me as my valet," Deadblood answered. Noticing Sheri's look of confusion, he then added, "You know, distract the referee for me when it seems like it'll benefit me the most in a match or give my opponent a low blow when the referee's not looking."
Sheri rolled her eyes at Deadblood's description of what a valet does, but she did know what he meant. And she knew that he was right about safety in numbers, because whatever the company did end up sending their way, they both knew it wouldn't be pleasant. Even as allies, they would have to keep looking over their shoulders. Whether it was a one person army that came for them or someone who relied on stealthier tactics, they would undoubtedly be extremely dangerous for both Deadblood and herself,
"So what now then?" Sheri asked after a moment of silence between them.
"Well, for now," Deadblood started, "I say we just go back home. It's not like we can really do anything about the company and how they'll retaliate at the moment anyway. I'll contact you soon so we can discuss things further. Until then . . . lay low and watch your back."
