Coming to an understanding seems to have only made things more mysterious.
"The Dark Queen is calling for you," Mortis said sarcastically to Red as he came to a stop in front of him. "You wouldn't want to keep her waiting."
"What's the matter? You feeling a little jealous?" Red smirked as Mortis snarled, clenching his fists. "Do her sounds of pleasure turn you on? Been tugging your dick outside her chamber doors with Seer?"
Markus quickly stepped between the two before it could go any further, knowing any fight between them could potentially ruin everything they'd worked so hard to achieve so far. "Red, during your... sessions with the Dark Queen, has she revealed anything to you?"
"She revealed the inside of that sarlacc pit she calls a vagina." Red cringed at the thought of that thing being spread open.
"I mean, did she tell you anything? Anything that seemed... noteworthy? Perhaps something that explains the situation more?" Markus looked at Red, eager for an answer. Behind him, Mortis seemed just as eager.
Shrugging, Red said, "Not that I recall. When her mouth wasn't busy on my crotch, she was busy begging for more and didn't say much else."
Markus glanced back at Mortis, who shook his head in annoyance. Red wasn't sure what it meant, but he knew it was probably wise to start acting cautiously around them, especially after how Aeean ended their conversation.
The horns sounded again, prompting Markus to say, "You really should be getting back to the Dark Queen now."
"She can wait." Red noticed the blueprints on the table and pointed at them instead. "What are those for?"
