Is our fate being trapped around his filthy beard?

Red and Sincentius stared down at the bearded creep a moment longer before Red spoke. "Well, well, well, I never expected to see you here, Dick!"

The bearded creep looked up at Red as he spoke and Sincentius looked over at Red, still confused.

"Do you know who this man is?"

Letting out a small laugh, Red answered with, "Indeed I do! Sincentius, meet Richard! You can call him Dick though. Everyone does! Isn't that right, Dick?"

Red kicked Richard back onto the ground as he grabbed at Red's leg. He continued to mumble, obviously not all there, his unkempt beard reminding Red of some kind of crazed hobo.

"I wonder how he got here," Red said more to himself than Sincentius, unsure if he would have that answer anyway. "I'm guessing he's not a part of the Trinity you spoke of?"

Sincentius shook his head before saying, "No, I don't believe he is. I believe he is something else entirely. If he was a part of the Trinity, we would know it."

Richard had remained on the ground after Red had knocked him back down.

"Release me . . . please . . . someone . . . I want out . . . ," Richard continued, earning no pity from Red, especially after their last encounter.

"Not that I really care that this asshole is trapped here, but maybe we should take him along? You never know, we might need him," Red said, finally looking back at Sincentius. He then added, "If nothing else, we can kick him around if we get bored."

Red turned his attention back to Richard, who was rocking back and forth now in a sitting position on the ground, still muttering to be freed. He couldn't help wondering if anyone else he knew might be trapped there. A smile appeared on his face as the names of some of his enemies crossed his mind, people he'd love to see trapped in a place like that for eternity, trapped with nothing but their own distorted minds. Of course, some of his enemies' minds had already been pretty distorted in life too, Richard for example.

Then looking up at the distant manor, Red didn't recognize it at all, but he had a feeling that he and Sincentius might find what they were looking for there, behind its walls. He hoped they would. While he wished to see more of his enemies trapped there, he sure as fuck didn't want to be. He'd only been there for a few minutes and it already seemed as bad as the Gate of Wickedness was. Though he couldn't complain too much. At least he no longer was trapped in those pesky chains.
