Meanwhile.... by the ruins of the Temple of Death.... Alexander had everyone by crimsonlight gun point....

Brandon looked at Angel and frowned... Brandon didn't have to say anything. Even if it meant that Charon, DARKSPADE and Mortismere are to be locked for all of eternity in a abyssea of nothingness.... in order to shield this world from destruction..... then so be it. Then all of a sudden... Alexander unsheathes a hidden Crimsonlight gun from his coat and promptly pointed it at Brandon.... then, from up high a storm of copters emerged with Alexander's personal army of assassins with their own crimsonlight guns-- Kizmat was held back by Angel as she placed her hand on his seething, smoking and angered chest.... hoping to prevent a massacre.....

Alexander Arcane: It looks like... mate... this is, checkmate.

Without any warning- Kizmat suddenly goes balistic! he pushes Angel and Brandon aside and behind slabs of stone- then flies up into the air to engage ALL of assassins! Beams of crimson red light blasted from the assassin's crimsonlight gun-- but they all missed their mark as Kizmat went for their necks and TORE THEM ASUNDER!!!

One such assassin unsheathes a katana and swings it at Kizmat- trying to decapitate the Lord of Blood- but Kizmat sidesteps and blocks the fatal blows by moving between stone columns until finally Kizmat comes up behind the assassin and RIPS HIS HEAD CLEAR RIGHT OFF!!! Blood squirted form where the head was once.... at that time, Brandon snatches ahold of Angel's ankle as they were both on the ground- but Angel wanted to get into the action herself. Brandon refuses to let Angel go even though her dad was out there alone!!

Back to the action- The Lord of Blood is ripping the rib cages off of two assassins in one fatal blow and then spins around in mid-air to come up face-to-face with Alexander who still had his gun aimed at Kizmat!! Alex snarled and then before the gun could be fired off- five more assassins with spears with a tip of crimson light radiating from it's tips- showed up!!! Kizmat knew that he had to avoid those spears at all costs- but he was more attentive to Angel and Brandon's safety. Kizmat knew that Angel and Brandon were still around so he screams at them to leave immediately- while- the Lord of Blood dodges spear heads left and right... he catches one spear- and then rams it into another assassin which upon impact made the assassin disappear in a burst of crimson light!!!

Meanwhile, Gunther gets up and adjusts his mullet... thinking this was a dance contest- he does the ding dong while singing "ohhh my tra la la!!"

Brandon: Angel... we NEED to take Gunther and get out of here!!! That's why your dad is putting his life on the line.. it is for us!!! it is for your mum and granddad!!! C'mon mate!!!!

Angel shed tears as she watched from the ground her daddy taking on assassin after assassin... the rays of light from the crimson lighted up the night sky and the smouldering ashes of decay from the bodies scorched dominated the air. But. She knew. Though... she also feared that the wait was too much and the chances of breaking the Gates open for her family was growing slim.... At that moment of realization- Angel breaks from Brandon and then jets forward to then snatch the dancing idoit Gunther.... Angel dragged Gunther and meet up with Brandon and the three ran off in the opposite direction.....

As Kizmat was slaying the assassins... he notices at the corner of his eye the three running off... it was at that point after slaying the last assassin that Kizmat turns and jolts towards Alexander!!! Alex fires off his gun at Kizmat- each missing it's mark- but then just before that last shot- Kizmat's eyes fill up with a black glaze and opens his arms outstretched.......

Kizmat was shot in the chest by the crimsonlight!....
and he died right there and then.
