Glad someone could be bothered to show up to this besides Darkspade and myself.
Grinning at himself for having just put two of his employees in their place, Alex turned around to leave the ring. He only got halfway through the ropes when heard one, loud, clear response from the former Absolute Champion: "No!"
The grin instantly vanishing from his face, Alex stepped back into the ring to look directly at Deadblood. "What did you just say to me?"
"I said, no!" DB locked eyes with Alex, the failure of their business relationship becoming quite clear.
JBL: "Oh god, he not going to start that stupid no chant, is he?"
"You see, ladies and gentlemen, having worked so closely with Alexander Arcane for the past two years, I got to witness firsthand just how full of shit he can really be!" Alex's face slowly formed into a scowl, causing everyone to wonder if they were about to see the Promoter physically attack an employee. "Oh sure, everyone gets to see some of his bullshit at every show. But there's much more behind the scenes that you don't see! So, Arcane, you'll have to forgive me if I don't believe you when you say Spade and I will have our titles returned eventually!"
King: "Is Deadblood trying to get fired?!"
Cole: "I'm not sure if it's that or if he just doesn't care about the consequences anymore!"
Turning his head to look around at the cheering crowd, Alex looked back at DB, still scowling, before saying, "Don't you EVER speak to me that way again! I give you not one but two Undisputed titles and this is how you repay me?! You disrespectful, ungrateful little shit! Now I said get the hell out of my ring!"
Deadblood, seemingly not phased at all by the Promoter's words, stepped closer until he was in Alex's face. "Since you seem to be having a hearing problem, allow me to say it one more time: NO! This ends here, Arcane! Now what I want you to do is book a rematch between Darkspade and myself, here TONIGHT! And I want you to personally present the championships to us!"
The crowd roared in approval at this idea.
