Stopping the punches, Darkspade instead grabbed Deadblood by the throat and began to bash the back of his head into the mat, knocking him silly!!!!! The referee tried to pull Spade off, desperate to separate the two!!! Spade completely ignored the ref, who eventually backed off, instead watching on with everyone else. The assault didn't last much longer because Spade climbed up and instead kicked the Undisputed Mortal Wrestling Champion in the ribs several times under he rolled out of the ring!!!!!!!

Cole: "Darkspade's already decimated Deadblood and this match has hardly begun!"

King: "Can Deadblood even compete after that?!"

Sheri rushed over to DB on the outside as he clutched his ribs in pain. The Unholy One watched her, a blank expression on his face, yet she could feel his eyes staring into her. She looked up at him and quickly backed away. She knew what was on the line and she knew that any blatant interference, especially so early on in the match, could cost DB the Mortal title regardless.

Darkspade slowly climbed out of the ring, Sheri staring at him, glancing down at Deadblood before looking back up. "Watch as I destroy him, bitch!"

Spade started to reach down to drag DB up. Before he could touch DB again though, DB slid a hand under the ring and slammed a weapon into the side of Spade's head!!!!!!!!! Spade stumbled and DB scrambled to his feet before driving the weapon into Spade's gut, forcing him to bend over!!!!!!!!!!!! He was finally sent to his knees with another blow to the back of his head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

King: "Is that a steel pipe???"

JBL: "This is a ladder match, not a pipe match! Deadblood needs to be disqualified! He's no champion!"

Raising the pipe into the air for all to see, DB stepped behind Spade and placed the pipe over his throat, pulling back to choke him!!!!!!!!!!!! Spade struggled, both trying to reach back to strike DB and trying to pry the pipe away from his throat!!!!!!!!! Sheri simply crossed her arms, watching on as Spade fought back less and less until his body went completely limp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DB let go, allowing both Spade and the pipe to fall to the floor. Wasting no time, he reached under the ring to drag out the first ladder of the match...
