Deadblood (Undisputed Mortal Wrestling Champion)
Then fix it. It stinks like a dead whore out here.
Helmets back on, they returned to his motorcycle and headed for the address Sheri heard over the police scanner. It truly wasn't far away, taking them only a couple minutes to find the location. It was a cheap, rundown motel, a couple police cars already in the parking lot. The door of the room closest to the street on the second floor was wide open, a cop standing guard in the doorway.
"That must be it." They stopped in the street, looking up. The cops didn't notice them.
"No way we're getting a closer look at that room," A couple more cop cars sped past them and whipped into the parking lot. "They'll be there for most of the night too."
"If we can't get inside, let's try up there." Sheri pointed at another abandoned building across the street from the motel.
Deadblood drove the bike into the alley, parking out of sight from the cops. Sheri headed for the fire escape while DB took the grapple gun out again.
"Really, Champ? You almost killed yourself last time." She paused with one foot at the first rung of the ladder.
DB just shook his head and fired the grapple gun. The hook hit where he aimed and while it didn't take him nearly as long as before to get onto the rooftop, Sheri still got there first on foot.
"Show off." He followed her to the edge of the roof.
"Maybe if you show that cop at the door your Batman gun, he'll let you in." Sheri began adjusting her helmet's vision modes, trying to get the best view. "Too bad these helmets don't have x-ray vision."
He ignored her comments and started doing the same with his helmet. "I haven't seen anyone suspicious hanging around, but that doesn't mean the killer isn't nearby still."
"You mean besides the hookers and drug dealers? Yeah, me neither." She focused on a the room's side window. "I think I can see part of one of the bodies. Looks like an arm."
"Unless the killer beat her to death with her own arm, a lot of good that does us." He was hoping someone would give a little more detail over the police scanner.
