Jack wasn't any easier on doors!

"What the fuck was that back there?!" Sheri shouted as they tore down the street in her coupe.

"Looked like Red Spyder and a couple of cyborgs to me," Deadblood replied, his hand going automatically to the side of the door, Sheri's last crazy driving escapade still a very fresh memory for him. "One had a plate on it's chest, it said CA-0026 or something."

"That sounds like a fucking license plate number or something! Think it morphs into a fucking street bike or a helicopter or some crazy shit?" Sheri turned onto the highway, thinking it'd be best to put as much space between them and the house incase that was true.

"Who fucking knows? There isn't much that would surprise me at this point. The real question is, what the hell are we going to do about it? " Deadblood answered, glad that other than being a little heavy on the gas pedal Sheri didn't seem to be putting in a repeat performance of their last time in a car together.

"I don't know. I can only imagine what else they are fucking up back here! I spent forever getting the house just right, so much for that!" Sheri groaned, already picturing the damages to the house and calculating the cost to replace everything. Just as she was racking her brain for their realtor's name another more relevant thought popped up. "You know, what about your egg roll friend or whatever? Maybe he'd have something that would take care of those creeps."

"Wang? Hey, that's actually not a bad idea. If there is any kind of weapon that would take out a trio consisting of a psychopath and two cyborgs, Wang would either have it or know where he could get it." Wang might be a horrible cook, but there was no one better in the arms dealing game, Deadblood was sure of that.

"I'll tell you what," Sheri said, slowing the car down and pulling into the parking lot of a small strip mall. "Here, you drive. I already have a huge scratch on the roof, I don't need dents in the shape of your fingers on my door handle to top it all off, Champ." Deadblood rolled his eye at that, but took her up on her offer. With Sheri settled into the passenger seat, he took off towards Wang's shop.

"What are you going to do if he offers you egg rolls again, Champ?" Sheri asked as they turned off down the way towards the industrial district Wang's warehouse was located in. Deadblood grimaced at the thought of the horrible egg rolls.

"I'll tell him I'm on a diet. Gotta look good in the ring," He replied, barely suppressing a shudder. "I might volunteer you to take one for the team if he really insists though." Sheri shot him a sharp look in return.

"Oh yeah? You do that, and I'll ask him for the recipe so you can have them every night for dinner!" She retorted, crossing her arms over her chest.

"You do that and you won't have to worry about Red and his pack of cyborgs, because I'll kill you in your sleep." Deadblood threatened as he pulled up to the gate of Wang's warehouse and pressed the buzzer.

"What do you want?" Wang's voice crackled across the intercom.

"It's Deadblood. Need to talk some business with you." He answered, glaring at Sheri who had her mouth already open to suggest that maybe Deadblood was hungry.

"Oh, Deadblood! It's been a while! Come on back," Wang said, as the gate began to creak open. "You feel like something to eat? Maybe some egg rolls?" Deadblood pulled the car forward, pretending he hadn't heard that last bit.

Wang met them at the rear of the warehouse, grinning with anticipation.

"Had a situation back at the house. These two cyborgs and someone with a grudge decided it would be a good idea to crash our dinner plans." Deadblood said, fishing around for the piece of armor that had come off during the fight.

"Oh? Oh that's too bad! Lucky for you, I just made a fresh batch!" Wang replied, smiling even wider at the mention of Deadblood's ruined dinner. Sheri smirked, deciding to let Deadblood talk his way out of this one on his own.

"Maybe in a bit, Wang. Here, this piece came off one of the cyborgs I was telling you about." Deadblood handed it to Wang who squinted a bit to make out the writing.

"Not anything I've ever seen or heard of before. But hey, I think I might have something you'd be interested in, come to think of it. I think you will find it very interesting in fact!"
