You've been a shitty friend and a shitty camper! (Finale)

Sheri wasted no time in setting her attentions on the two closest cyborgs, sending them smashing into each other, their visors splitting and cracking away with the force of the impact. Their heads exposed, Deadblood gave a quick slice of his katana, taking the top two thirds of their exposed heads off. Effectively decapitated, they fell to the ground in a heap.

Taking a moment to catch their breath, Sheri looked over in the direction of the woods. In the distance they could hear more banging and slamming, Red having apparently found another cyborg to vent his fury on. By the sounds of it, he was ripping it in half like a drunk tearing apart an empty beer can.

“I still can’t believe he just got up like it was nothing. How the fuck is that even possible?”

“I told you, he’s... weird. Can’t think of a better way to put it.” Deadblood replied. He’d told Sheri about Red’s abilities before, but he couldn’t blame her for still being shocked at the events tonight.

“Real fucking weird. You think the LAD will work on him?” She asked.

“I don’t know. Maybe. If nothing else it’ll put him down long enough for us to figure out what to do next.”
A loud whirring sound alerted them to one last straggling cyborg, that Deadblood made short work of with a direct blast from the LAD.

“Then what? I mean, what the fuck can we do to him?”

“You can start by getting the fuck out of my way.” Came the reply as Red approached the pair from the treeline.

“Wait, what the fuck was all that back there? What’s going on?” Deadblood said, finger still on the LAD’s trigger, ready to use it if necessary

“I’ll tell you what the fuck is going on. That bastard Scrivens has just signed his own fucking death certificate, that’s what the fuck is going on here!” Red shouted, his eyes blazing with fury.

“So Scrivens fucked you over, huh? Not surprising.” Sheri replied cynically, as Red turned his attention to her.

“If I were you little girl, I’d shut your mouth and step back unless you’d like to see what fucked over really looks like.” He shot back, looking as if he’d make good on that threat right here and now. Deadblood quickly stepped in between the two, cutting Sheri off from further antagonizing the man.

“Look, the way I see it The Company has fucked us all over. Why not set aside our differences for a fucking minute and try to figure out what’s going on here?“ Deadblood shot Sheri a warning look, effectively silencing her.

“I don’t have time for any of this bullshit. You two can talk all the fuck you want. I’m going to go find that snaky bastard and pull his intestines through his fucking throat and string him up like a goddamn mobile!”
Sheri winced slightly at the threat, sure that Red wasn’t exagerating from what she’d seen him do.

"You don't even know where he is!" Deadblood said, the expression on Red's face changing from anger to confusion for a moment. "None of us do! So until we figure that out, we can't do anything!"

Red paused for a moment, before being forced to admit that Deadblood was right. There was no way to go disembowel the man if no one knew where to find him.

“Look. You look like shit. We feel like shit. Why not go home, and rest a bit, and then we can meet up and figure out where that fucker is, huh?” Deadblood continued. “It’s not like you don’t know where we live, anyway.” Sheri gave Deadblood a terrible look at mention of their house.

Seemingly satisfied with the offer, Red turned and trudged on off into the darkness without another word. Sheri turned to Deadblood, her eyes wide.

“Did you really just-” Sheri started, only for Deadblood to cut her off.

“Let’s just go fucking home. I’ve had enough for one night.” He said as they started to the car. They had a long drive ahead of them, and the last thing he wanted to listen to on the way home was Sheri ranting about Red Spyder coming back to their home. Luckily for him, she fell asleep early on, leaving him with silence to figure out what they'd do about finding Scrivens.
