Jason belongs in Hell - and I'm gonna see to it that he gets there.

"Shit, where did it go?" Sheri asked, both of their eyes scanning the darkness for the danger they knew was present.

They didn't have to look any longer when the cyborg stepped forward again, along with two more of its friends. Raising their right arms, the attached guns visible even as the last moments of daylight were fading. Deadblood and Sheri jumped out of the way as bullets ripping through the air, shredding the archery targets behind them.

Before they could adjust their aim and try again, Sheri sent a volleyball net that was stored with the archery equipment flying towards the cyborgs, wrapping it tightly around one of them. DB took that as his cue to charge up another shot from the LAD 18000, the resulting plasma bolt shearing away the top half of the cyborg's head. It slowly crumpled to the ground, still trapped in the net, blood running down the sides of what was left of its helmet.

One cyborg became momentarily distracted by its fallen comrade, giving DB the opportunity to line up another shot with the LAD. This time he hit the cyborg's leg, tearing off the lower half and forcing it to drop to the knee of its remaining leg. Realizing that the cyborg could still be quite lethal even if it couldn't walk, DB rushed up to it and fired the lad in its face. The metal helmet and flesh and blood head underneath exploded from the cyborg's shoulders.

Sheri focused on dealing with the third cyborg, sending it flying back towards one of the cabins, though she unintentionally sent a blast of fire along with it. The cyborg's heavy body easily smashed through the wall of the cabin, setting the mostly wooden structure on fire. For not the first time since arriving at Camp Green Lake, Sheri was glad it wasn't actually open for campers yet. It would have been harder to deal with the cyborgs with kids and counselors around to possibly get in the way and end up dead.

The cyborg started to sit up as the fire rapidly spread, but it was too late. Sheri gave an invisible tug until the cyborg's helmet peeled off before sending the roof crashing down onto its head. She watched for a moment as the fire continued, slowly getting bigger thanks to the collapsed roof. She thought the cyborg might try to escape, but it didn't. Its legs, jutting out of the fire, didn't even twitch. Maybe the roof broke its neck.

Running up behind her, Deadblood said, "Too bad more of them weren't in the cabin for that."

Snapping out of her daze, Sheri said, "So much for not damaging any buildings."

"Yeah, well, if anyone found out why, they'd probably thank us," DB said.

There was no time for Sheri to continue her criticism for both they and the remaining cyborgs became distracted by several bright flashes and the crackle of electricity. It occurred near the bodies of Red Spyder, CA-0024, and CA-0025.

Streams of electricity shot from the energy cells in the chests of the two cyborgs, Red's body absorbing it. DB and Sheri could only watch as his headless body then did the impossible and stood up. It stumbled slightly before bending down and picking up his head. Setting it on his shoulders, the muscles, bones, and other connections began to reform. DB imagined something similar occurred after he decapitated Red at the abandoned school, just at a much slower rate.

"FUCK FUCK FUCK!" Red said once he could use his vocal cords again.

The cyborgs turned their guns on the Guardian of Wickedness and fired. It was too late though, the bullets penetrating his flesh but hardly affecting him. He charged at the two cyborgs closest to him, grabbing their heads and cracking their faces together, shattering their visors. Shoving one away, he knocked the other over and jabbed his thumbs into its eyes.

"You won't get away with this, Scrivens!" he said to the cyborg at his thumbs worked deep, mutilating the cyborg's eyes. "I KNOW YOU CAN HEAR ME!"

Leaving the cyborg down and blinded, he pursued the other cyborg, ramming it into a tree. Grabbing its helmet by both sides, he slammed in repeatedly against the tree, causing the whole thing to shake and severely denting the back of the helmet until it broke free from the cyborg's head. Drawing his chainsaw, he had it started in one second and decapitated the cyborg in the next. Its headless, armored body slumped to the ground in a spurt of blood.

By that point, the other cyborgs had drawn closer to Red. Three in particular were steadily moving in, bullets still firing at him, what didn't strike him tearing into the trees. This was a mistake on their part for he rushed over to the center cyborg and proceeded to bash a large fist into the hatch covering the power cell until he could rip it away. Shoving a hand into the armored chest of the cyborg, he wrapped a hand around its power cell, sending a surge of Wickedness into it. The power cell soon overloaded, exploding like a small bomb, not only blowing the cyborg into pieces and taking out its friends as well but also leaving a crater in the ground.

When the dust and smoke cleared, Deadblood and Sheri saw that Red was also gone. They realized he was blown into the woods when he emerged a moment later, his arms and face severely burnt away, blood-oozing bullet holes all over his body, especially his chest. Taking no time to heal, he charged at another cyborg with a scream of rage and shoved it into the lake, going in after it.

With Red out of sight, some of the cyborgs returned their attention to DB and Sheri. Inspired by what they'd just witnessed Red do, Sheri gave a hard mental tug at a cyborg's chest hatch and DB fired a plasma bolt from the LAD 18000 once the power cell was exposed. The resulting explosion destroyed the cyborg and took out another that was nearby, leaving another crater and sending smoking, bloody limbs and chunks of metal flying.

DB fired the LAD again at another cyborg, striking its head as Sheri focused her attention on a different cyborg. Sending it into the air, she forced it to stop in mid-air and tore away its helmet before dropping it down head first into the camp's empty swimming pool, the impact coming in the form of a hard cracking sound. Peering over the edge of the pool, she was satisfied to see the cyborg in a motionless heap at the bottom, blood puddling around its head.

There weren't many cyborgs left. Confident that they could handle the remaining few before trying out the LAD on Red, they approached the lake and dock area. Coming across the cyborg Red blinded before, stumbling and randomly firing off its gun, Deadblood slipped the blade of the katana into its broken visor, putting it down for good with a stab to the brain.

As they reached the water, Red emerged, the cyborg he took into the lake with him nowhere in sight. They could only assume the cyborg was on the bed of the lake, drowned, its armor holding it down. Red pulled himself up onto the dock and stared at them. DB had the LAD aimed at him, though not yet charged.

"Behind you," Red said calmly and casually.

Spinning around, they saw that a cyborg was only a few feet away. It wasn't shooting at them though or attempting to attack in any other way. What appeared to be vomit was leaking out from the bottom of its helmet onto its armored chest. They didn't know what was wrong with it, but DB treated it like the others with a shot from the LAD to its head, putting the weapon away after, the grip beginning to feel hotter than it should have.

When they turned back to Red, he was already gone, stomping his way to one of the few remaining cyborgs...
