It just tastes so damn good! Buck-buck-buckaw!

“Someone called you?” Deadblood asked as he and Sheri stared at Red who was aparently oblivious to what he’d just said. “What do you mean?”

“Yeah, some corporate asshole chewed me out for like a whole two minutes before I hung up on him.” Red said through a fresh mouthful of casserole. “Acted like he thought I couldn’t easily catch you two, like I’d failed or something. Shows what the fuck that paper pusher knows, huh? I’m sitting right here at your table and I could kill you both right now if I really wanted to!” Red laughed hard, as if he'd just made an especially funny joke.

“Do you still have the number on your call list, Red?” Deadblood spoke slowly, trying to direct Red back to the matter at hand.

Red shoveled another bite of casserole into his mouth before fishing in his pocket for his phone. He scrolled through, before handing it to Deadblood who was horrified to find that it was slightly sticky.

“Sheri, grab your phone, I’m sending you the number...” Deadblood said, forwarding the contact details to her as quickly as he could so he could hand Red his disgusting phone back. He wasn’t sure if those stains were blood or jizz, or both, but he was definitely sure he needed to wash his hands as soon as possible after handling it.

Sheri checked her phone, as Deadblood made a big show of asking Red if he wanted yet another beer to cover up his true intentions of washing his hands.

“This should be very useful in locating Scrivens. Even if it’s not a direct number, whoever was on the other end knew Company business enough to call you.” Sheri said, somewhat pleased for the first time this evening. Even if he was utterly disgusting and had terrible table manners maybe having Red over would pay off in the end. She could hear Deadblood turning the sink behind them, smirking slightly to herself. At least she hadn’t had to touch the filthy phone.

“Yeah, they knew enough I guess. What are you gonna do, trace the number?” Red asked her. Sheri nodded in response, already busy looking to see what information she could pull up off her phone as Deadblood returned to the table with beer and very clean hands.
