"Ugh..." Sheri groaned, privately resolving that if she ever did leave Deadblood Red would be the very last person on earth to ever find out. "He is so fucking nasty."
"Yeah, he is, but this information is going to get us to Scrivens. Just try to play nice a little longer, Sheri..." Deadblood warned, eyes flicking off down the hall towards the bathroom. "And would it hurt you to try to be a little more mature about it?"
"Mature?" She shot back, hand on her hip. "This coming from the guy who plays with grapple guns in the fucking house?"
"Whatever. Look, if I can play nice, you can too. Once we deal with Scrivens you can kick him in the balls and set him on fire, I don't really care. But until then, please just try, all right?"
"Fine... but you owe me, Champ." She said, standing up and mentally sending the dirty dishes to the sink. "I want to go somewhere nice."
"I'll take you to fucking Dorsia if you can just be civil until he leaves." Deadblood promised, before remembering that a table there was almost impossible to get, even for a CW Mega Star. Oh well, he was sure Sheri wouldn't be able to keep her end of the bargain anyway. At least this way he could say he tried.
Sheri smiled at the mention of the exclusive restaurant, to his relief.
"You think he wants dessert? I think we have one of those frozen cheesecakes I bought a while back. I'll go look." Deadblood motioned her on, busy looking up directions to Santa Mira and contemplating the best route to take.
"I figure if we leave tomorrow, it should be a pretty straight shot up the interstate. We could make it in a couple of days." He said, pointing to the screen as she returned with the cheesecake. Sheri leaned over his shoulder, frowning slightly.
"You going to try to drive straight through?" She asked, scanning the route. "We'd have to stop at least once I'd think."
"Plenty of motels on the way there. I'm not too worried about that. We can get two rooms." He added quickly, before she could put her foot down on staying in a motel room with Red.
"Thank god. I'll sleep in the car before I share a room with him." She replied, before turning her attention back down the hallway. "God I hope he isn't in there destroying our bathroom."
