Sheri glared at Red, but didn't take the bait. Red chugged his beer back quickly, tossing it to the floor and immediately popping the top on another one.
"This is a nice car. Didn't Gojinn have one like it?" Red prodded, as Sheri sighed.
"Thank you," She finally replied, figuring she should be thankful he'd finally let the movie topic drop, at least for now anyway. "It actually IS his car. Long story."
Red let out a loud chuckle, slamming back the rest of his second beer. "Oh really? Couldn't have happened to a bigger douchebag!"
"Don't you think you should slow down on those?" Sheri asked as Red popped open his third can. "We're only like 20 miles out."
"Nah. I brought plenty. We can always get more when we get gas! King Turdjinn's car isn't gonna run on nothing after all!" Sheri rolled her eyes, but declined to say anything else. If Red wanted to get shitfaced, that was on him. they wouldn't need him sober until it came time to deal with Scrivens anyway. Besides, maybe he'd pass out soon and she'd have some peace and quiet.
