Deadblood (Undisputed Mortal Wrestling Champion)
Never, never, never... throw chips at a driver.
Looking back through the rear window, Deadblood could hear a crash as at least one of the cop cars collided with the dumpsters. He kept looking, waiting for those blue and red lights to round the corner as the sirens got further away. They didn't come.
"Looks like the dumpsters worked after all, huh?" Sheri slowed the car down some, smiling to herself.
"Maybe. We'll see." He turned back around in his seat and had to brace his hands on the dashboard when Sheri was forced to slam on the brakes. Two cop cars, possibly the ones chasing them before if they managed to rush around the block, cut them off. "Shit, watch where you're going!"
"Maybe you'd prefer to walk!" She shifted into reverse and they started going back the way they came. "It's your driving to the bank that got us into this situation to begin with!"
He had no time to react as she managed to spin the car around and right into someone's yard. Narrowly avoiding a tree, she sent the car exploding through a fence, along the edge of a swimming pool, and through another fence.
"SHERI!" Deadblood screamed as the car hit a flower bed and bounced several feet into the air before crashing back down into the street.
Barely slowing down, she swerved the car around and took off down that street instead. "Now let's see them try to follow us!"
"I can't believe you just did that!" He looked back again, knowing the cops probably thought they crashed after such a risky maneuver.
"Sometimes you just have to take some risks, Champ!" She started to laugh at what she'd done, but was cut short when two cop cars almost cut them off again. "Fuck, don't these guys ever give up? Looks like we're going to have to do things the hard way!"
"The hard way?! I take back what I said before! Pull over!" He made sure his seat belt was fastened tightly as the car picked up speed again.
"There's a drawbridge up ahead, right? We can lose them once and for all there!" Her hands gripped the wheel tightly as she focused on the road more than ever before.
The drawbridge approached fast, only a couple other cars on it. He had a feeling that was probably for the best, for everyone's safety.
Right as they were going to pass the control room, she turned to look at it, reaching out with one hand. "Sheri, what the fuck are you doing?! Watch the god damn road!" A moment later, the car shuddered as the bridge started to go up underneath them. He was pretty sure it was lifting faster than normal too.
Deadblood's eyes widened as they neared the tip of their side of the bridge, the tip of the quickly widening gap. "SSSSSHHHHHEEEEERRRRRIIIII!" he screamed as the car launched over the gap, barely making it, landing roughly on the other side, half speeding, half sliding down the other side to normal road again.
She slammed on the brakes and slid the car to a stop. They both looked at the drawbridge. One cop car's front bumper made the jump. The rest of the car didn't. The other cop car either didn't make it to the top or went completely into the water.
