Why don't I ever fall in with people who own condos? Probably hard to get good maid service in a sewer.
"They say The Driller emptied some safety deposit boxes last night," Deadblood said as he sat down at the kitchen table. Donuts for breakfast that morning.
"That makes our job easier then, doesn't it?" Sheri finished off her sprinkle-topped donut before continuing. "We'll still need something to entice him. Maybe some money?"
"Maybe. It'd have to be a lot." He grabbed a donut for himself from the box. "What about jewelry? Surely you have some that's worth something. We could put it in a plastic bag along with the phone. I doubt they'll bother opening the bag just to remove a phone."
She nodded. "I think I can find something that would work. I better get it back though, Champ."
"Don't worry. If this all goes as planned, everything will be recovered." He took a bite out of his donut, anxious to finish breakfast and get to the bank.
Before going to the bank, the next one running along the main sewer system, they checked into a hotel almost directly across the street from the bank. They managed to get a room facing the street, giving them a perfect view of the bank, not that it really matter. Most of their vision that evening would be through GPS.
With a clear, plastic bag containing a fancy watch, a couple rings, and his cell phone, Deadblood headed back down to the bank, leaving Sheri in the room. She made him put his phone in the bag since her jewelry was already in there. It seemed fair.
It didn't take long for him to get the bag into a safety deposit box. The bank was more than happy to have him use their services.
When he returned to the room, he found her laying on her stomach on the bed, hands under her chin. She wasn't looking at the TV, which surprisingly wasn't even on, but at him, a smile on her face.
The door shutting behind him, he said, "It's all taken care of. Now we just have to wait. Nothing on TV?"
"Oh I'm sure there's plenty on. But you see, Champ, I don't think you made a big enough deposit last night." With a lick of her lips, he felt an invisible force tugging at his pants to get them off before dragging him towards her wide open mouth. His prime meat was already hardening. He knew how they would be passing at least some of their time that day.
